Family Health & Wellness Center by Dr. Singh

Amarjit “AJ” Singh, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician at the Family Health & Wellness Center by Dr. Singh, providing health care to people of all ages at office locations in Las Vegas and Pahrump, Nevada.

Dr. Singh studied at St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in San Pedro, Belize, earning her medical degree. She then completed a family medicine residency at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, receiving extensive training in all aspects of family medicine.

At the Family Health & Wellness Center by Dr. Singh, she provides full-service medical care to people of all ages, taking an integrative treatment approach, where she emphasizes one-on-one collaboration with patients. This commitment to high-quality care is illustrated by her friendly demeanor, compassionate bedside manner, and dedication to ensuring people receive the best possible care.

Dr. Singh diagnoses and treats various acute and chronic medical conditions and has a special interest in diabetes management and respiratory problems. 

Dr. Singh is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She welcomes individuals and families in need of high-quality health care to the Family Health & Wellness Center by Dr. Singh.

Jonathan Maxham, DO, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at the Family Health & Wellness Center by Dr. Singh, with locations in Las Vegas and Pahrump, Nevada.

Dr. Maxham was born and raised in South Carolina. He studied at the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine, earning his medical degree. After graduation, he completed residency training at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

Dr. Maxham then joined the United States Air Force and moved to Nevada. He was deployed to Afghanistan and received the Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM). 

After his deployment, Dr. Maxham served at Nellis Air Force Base in Southern Nevada. There, he worked as a geriatrician, supporting elderly veterans with chronic health conditions like high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and diabetes.

Dr. Maxham is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His treatment philosophy combines traditional Western medicine with a holistic approach. He encourages healthy lifestyle changes to promote healing whenever possible but prescribes medications and other pharmacological interventions when necessary.

Outside of work, Dr. Maxham enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He’s also an avid golfer and barbecue enthusiast who loves smoking ribs on the weekends.
